Dr. Farzam Kamalabadi, founder and president of Future Trends International, is a Persian-American visionary with over 35 years of global experience advising governments and business leaders on comprehensive development strategies. Renowned as "The Most Influential Foreign Figure in Modern Chinese History" by Chinese state media and international outlets, he has played a pivotal role in shaping national policies and driving transformative economic initiatives worldwide.

Kamalabadi’s leadership spans multiple industries, particularly in the global oil, gas, and energy sectors. He has chaired major summits, advised national oil systems in Oman, Kuwait, and China, and facilitated landmark exploration rights and trade agreements. As the architect of the New Silk Road policy, he pioneered initiatives like the China-GCC economic corridor and brokered historic investments by Gulf sovereign wealth funds into China. His expertise has also been instrumental in securing iconic financial agreements, including the US Exim Bank’s environmental loan to Chinese cities.
